June 5th is National Trails Day friends! What better way is there to celebrate than to grab some good beers and blaze some awesome trails?! We’ve put together a list of some of our absolute favourite trails paired with some of our most delicious beers!!
MT THOM - BLACK CURRANT GINGER SOUR
As you know Mt. Thom is our absolute favorite trail around here. It’s family friendly and dog friendly so you can bring the whole gang along! Our Black Currant Ginger Sour if filled with deep dark fruit flavours and subtle sweetness from the Black Currant. Just like Mt. Thom, this beer has got it all! Sweet, Steep, and filled with earthiness.
CHILLIWACK COMMUNITY FORREST - RASPBERRY LEMON BERLINER WEISSE
The Chilliwack Community Forrest has a little something for everyone. The trails are shared with us all! From bikers, to hikers, and everyone in between. With a variety of trails that range in difficulty, there really is something for everyone! Quite like our Raspberry Lemon Berliner Weisse, this place truly does not let you down! This Raspberry summer sour is light and fruity, but still has that BOLD Raspberry character that cannot disappoint!!
CHEAM WETLENDS - GIN FIZZ CITRUS SOUR
If you’re not much of a hiker but still want to get outside, look no further. This is the place TO BE if you just want to chillll out, get a nice walk in, and enjoy nature! Perfect for afternoon strolls or family outings, the Cheam Wetlands are the place to be this summer. Much like our Gin Fizz Citrus Sour, this place is laid back and refreshing experience. With hints of juicy botanical flavours and bright punches of citrus lemon, this sour AND this trail will leave you wanting to revisit it time and time again!
BRIDAL VEIL FALLS - TROPICAL IPA
Another chill walk with even MORE impressive scenery?! Add it to the list!! This is another great park with a stellar picnic area making it perfect for those weekend family trips. This adventure has a couple of different paths you can take up to the waterfall, but we think it’s best if you do it has a loop and do both- but it’s totally up to you! Much like the waterfall, our Tropical IPA is bursting and flowing with fruits like Guava and Stonefruit, making it the perfect summer beer. What better trail to pair with the Tropical IPA than this magnificent flowing waterfall?!
TEAPOT HILL - JUICY PINEAPPLE SUMMER PILSNER
This trail is located just minutes away from Cultus Lake which yes (spoiler alert) has a SICK view of the lake from the top of the hike. It offers multiple lookout points making it approximately two hours long, but is still considered an easy hike. Lake views + Juicy Pineapple Summer Pilsner = match made in heaven! This summer sipper is bursting with both Pineapple ( of course) and Stonefruit , alongside the malted Rye which gives it that spiciness!!
