Where has the time gone? It's crazy to believe that we originally opened our doors way back in 1999... Since then we've always stayed true to our roots; seeking the perfect balance using the finest, all-natural ingredients combined with Canada's best drinking water. Our entire-award winning line up - from the crisp, straightforward Knotty Blonde Ale to Canada's best beer, the Sasquatch Stout - is made to reflect this balance and is inspired by the landscape that surrounds us.
It's kind of surreal to think about the fact that we've been hand-crafting, premium, one-of-a-kind beers for 20 whole years! It's got us feeling all sorts of nostalgic, so much so, that we went looking through the archives of old photos and labels. Some of them made us laugh, some of them made us cringe a little, but all of them made us smile, so we thought we'd share some of the Old Yale originals that got us to where we are today!
Where the magic happened, to where it happens now....
Our Tasting Room changes over the years on the outside...
And the inside...
Oh man, check out these OG labels for the original 1999 recipes: Chilliwack Blonde, Old Yale Pale Ale, Sergeant's IPA and Sasquatch Stout...
And all the different formats over the years all the way from OG bombers to tall cans...
How's that for a throwback??
But in all honesty, we're so unbelievably thankful that we've been able to craft beer that we love for the past 20 years and all the triumphs and tribulations that came with. We owe the biggest thanks to all of our awesome customers that supported us over the years, allowing us to continue doing what we love in a place that we're so proud of... okay that's enough nostalgia and sentimental words for now. We're not crying, you're crying...
Cheers to the next 20 friends.
