COVID-19 RESPONSE - MARCH 2021

Hi friends. In light of the new restrictions outlined in today’s press conference, we wanted to take this opportunity to talk about the importance of the health and safety of our Team, our Customers and our Community at Old Yale.

OUR TEAM:

Last year in March, we made a commitment to Team OYB, and we continue to uphold that with no lay offs, by supporting them with full paid leave pay if they need to take time off to get tested or self-isolate due to COVID-19 and by actively encouraging them to be take care of their health through our Team OYB Health & Wellness program.

OUR CUSTOMERS:

At Old Yale, we continue to maintain our very high standards for cleanliness in the interest of the health and wellbeing of our Customers and Team. In the link below, you’ll find our current guidelines including mask requirements, cleaning and sanitizing procedures and more.

Given the restrictions announced on March 29, our Tasting Room will remain open BUT only for service on our patio. Please note: We recommend you dress warm as it’s Patio Season now… but it’s not quite Patio Season if you know what we mean (feel free to BYO-Blanket). Our Tasting Room is also open for beer and food to-go. As per the PHO announcement on March 29, we will not be seating guests indoors.

For those that aren’t comfortable picking up beer to-go in person or are self-isolating, our Online Store is open for free local delivery in Abbotsford, Chilliwack , Yarrow, Cultus Lake, Agassiz and Harrison. You can find all the information on that here.

OUR COMMUNITY:

Now more than ever it’s so important to support local. At Old Yale, we are actively brainstorming ways to rally behind all of the amazing local restaurants and bars that need our support right now and will be sharing more on this soon. But in the meantime, we encourage you all to get takeout from your favourite restaurants and bars over the next couple of weeks AND show them some love online and on social media. Every little bit of encouragement helps!

Thank you all for your continued support, we truly appreciate it and will continue to update you all as things change.
